TRAINEESHIP: Funded traineeship for young graduates at the EU Delegation to the Philippines

Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in the Philippines?

We offer:
Two (2) traineeships of up to 6 months each within the Political, Press and Information Section of the EU Delegation to the Philippines, starting in April/May and October/November 2022.

Mission of the Political, Press & Information Section:

Monitor, analyse and report on the political and security situation in the Philippines.
Coordinate Delegation’s press and information activities.
Contribute to political dialogue and strategy in horizontal areas between the Philippines and the EU.
Maintain close working relations with relevant national authorities, political parties, Member States representatives, and other relevant organisations/institutions.
Develop partnerships with UN agencies, major third country donors/partners, and other institutions, including business and civil society.
Represent the Delegation in meetings, conferences, political hearings.
Prepare and assist in missions from Headquarters.
Assist in the identification of cooperation priorities and the setting up of projects in areas of concern.
Contribute to the effective management of existing cooperation programmes in areas of concern, (e.g. human rights.
