Are you a young graduate interested in international relations? Are you curious to learn more about work of a diplomatic mission and how the EU Delegation represents EU interests and values in Cuba?
We offer:
A traineeship of 6 months at the Name of the Section Office Cooperation section to Cuba, starting in September 2022.
Main tasks:
- Contribute to the follow-up of cooperation projects and programs of the Delegation of the European Union in Cuba;
- Contribute to the maintenance and dissemination to Cuban counterparts of updated information on calls for centralized European programs at the regional and thematic level.
- Support in the organization of events of the Delegation, as well as in the follow-up of communication activities of the Cooperation, including the maintenance of the project website;
- Participate and support in the preparation of reports of meetings and events;
- Conduct research on relevant political and economic issues for use in reports and documents of the Delegation;
- Other tasks indicated by the Head of Section.
We look for:
Qualifications or special requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish and English, other languages are an asset;
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences, Social Sciences, Economics, Finance, Commerce, International Relations, Political Sciences;
- Less than 1 year of professional experience;
- No previous experience of more than 6 weeks in any Institution of the European Union;
- Experience in managing social networks and organizing academic and cultural events;
- Knowledge of the European Union-Cuba relations will be considered as an asset
