EU supports the organisation of the first international Diia Summit Brave Ukraine

On May 24, 2022, the First International Diia Summit Brave Ukraine took place at the World Economic Forum within the platform Ukrainian House in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland. On this day, Ukraine has been resisting the unprovoked and unjustified full-scale Russian invasion for three months already. Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov presented to the international community a new vision of digital state development, innovative tools to fight the war, new electronic services, and the future path to the digital economy. Also, the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation shared the best cases and creative solutions of wartime. The event gathered broad international support for the digitalization sphere in Ukraine.

The EU4DigitalUA project provided promotional support to the Diia Summit Brave Ukraine. The event promotional activities included:

·       the development of landing pages and which provide the general information about the Summit and broadcast event online for Ukrainian and EU citizens;

·       production of videos to showcase during Diia Summit and during the duration of Ukrainian House;

·       conducting social media campaign on Facebook, Instagram and Youtube targeted at the Ukrainian and EU citizens.


Background information:

EU4DigitalUA is part of the European Union’s support to Ukraine and continues the work of the EGOV4UKRAINE project, implemented in 2016-2021 within the U-LEAD with Europe Programme.

With a budget of EUR 20.5 million, EU4DigitalUA is focused on the further development of digital government infrastructure, public e-services, cyber security and data protection.

The project is funded by the European Union and jointly implemented by the e-Governance Academy (eGA, Estonia) and the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP, Spain).
