EU Buzz is an aggregator agency of information from the European Union institutions.
Although there are many websites dedicated to European affairs, none bring everything together in one space, even the European Union itself does not have such a single point of reference. This is where EU Buzz has found its niche. We hope to demystify the labyrinth of policy and decision making and support you in easily navigating the maze.
Europe is a unique continent with multiple dimensions and diverse cultures. The European Union, as the overarching policy body for most of the continent, must be accessible to all citizens and sectors of civil society. We believe this deserves a unique approach and EU Buzz intends to ultimately create a space for dialogue from both decision makers, stakeholders and civil society.
Furthermore, the European Union provides many opportunities which are often hidden from view. EU Buzz will share, for free, information on consultations, tenders, job vacancies, traineeships, awards, prizes and EU project grant funding.
EU Buzz provides content related to the European Union and competitive intelligence products and services for companies, organisations, institutions and individuals. The information provided is source highlighted, unamended content, so you can directly access the point of origination.
We want to create an open space for decision makers, politicians and civil society to express their opinions and concerns freely, opening debates and reshaping policy where necessary. Additionally, we want to get our audience to know the people behind the policy, so you can understand their views, passions and personal interests and interact with them more easily.
EU Buzz, in the future, plans to connect the dots between decision makers, politicians and citizens. It aims to debunk the confusion around Europe’s parliamentary conglomerate institutions making the “system” and politicians more accessible – After all, they have so much to offer and are making decisions on your behalf.
EU Buzz is apolitical and welcomes content from civil society organisations and all political spheres.
The media group behind EU Buzz, Srivastava Group, have been operational for more than 50 years in Asia. As Europe strengthens its place on the global stage, sharing the European agenda with a wider audience has become part of their mission also. This provided the opportunity for a joint venture with people who have worked within the ‘Brussels bubble’ and who recognised the lack of accessibility and the complexity of that accessibility for citizens and civil society. Madi Sharma, Entrepreneur, international speaker, journalist, and former member of the European Economic and Social Committee, heads up the virtual team and is interim editor.
EU Buzz is building its audience, its team and its networks and at the same time we are exploring ways to connect directly with politicians, civil society organisations, embassies and experts to have their views and opinions on current affairs and on issues of reader interest. We appreciate your patience and support in helping us grow.
